Here I spent 1 night and loved being in this place. Location: the hotel was very close to the downtown, neigbourhood Mikocheni and Dar Es Salaam. Mikocheni district was worth exploring. There were perfectly clean and cosy rooms with great bed and bathroom. The breakfast was included and had a lot of meals.
Well, Wi-Fi signal was not very good.

During my Christmas stay at this accommodation, I appreciated the low prices and the opportunity to meet new people from different backgrounds. the peaceful location and easy access to public transportation made it convenient to explore the area. Lastly, the staff was always there to assist with any concerns I had.
One major downside was the lack of cleanliness in the shared spaces and the rooms. I noticed a lot of dust and stains on the walls and floor.

The accommodation, unfortunately, wasn't up to our expectations. the room was quite small and the bathroom could have been cleaner. the breakfast didn't have many options and coffee was mediocre. Although there was a rooftop terrace, it didn't have any view worth mentioning.
The location was convenient as it was close to an ATM and a shopping center.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities, including strong WiFi. The location was also great, being in a quiet and safe neighborhood, and easily accessible by taxi or tuk-tuk. it had a lovely rooftop terrace with a stunning view that I really enjoyed.
Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike about this hotel. The only downside was that I missed the first rooftop event, which would have been great to attend.

I adored Cefa Hostel in Dar es Salaam! The location was excellent, in a safe neighborhood just a short ride away from Coco Beach. The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with hot water. The breakfast was delicious and varied daily. Roberta, the manager, was wonderful, providing helpful recommendations and advice. Plus, the hostel supports people with disabilities and organizes local events. Truly a piece of heaven in the chaos of Dar es Salaam!
All good.
